On Saturday, May 2nd amid the COVID-19 crisis, the staff of Immanuel Lutheran School spread some love!
We invited all of the families to do a “drive-by parade” in the parking lot at school. The teachers stood around the outer edges on the sidewalk as the families drove by us.
There were balloons, honking, waving, blowing of kisses, smiles, and even some tears. It is still so heartbreaking to all of us that we will not be with the kids in our classrooms for the remainder of the year. But, it really was a great day!
We continue to pray for our school and church families that all stay safe, and we cannot wait to see all of you as some normalcy returns to our lives.
